About IAFM
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The Indian Association of Functional Medicine (IAFM) is a not-for-profit association of practitioners working in root-cause medicine in India. Our members are doctors across every system of medicine, nutritionists and dietitians, health coaches and allied healthcare professionals.
What we do
Where conventional practice often manages the symptom, functional medicine asks why the system went out of balance in the first place, and treats that. IAFM exists to bring that reasoning into everyday clinical practice in India through education, shared standards and a community of practitioners who can call on each other.
IAFMCON
IAFMCON is our annual conference. The 2026 edition is the sixth, held on 5–6 December 2026 (Sat–Sun) at Veerdency Resort, Bengaluru, with more than thirty Indian and international speakers across 23 sessions and two panel discussions.
